Tenacious D Hits Rock Bottom After the encore thriller that was a rock off between the Hip Hop Highsteppers and Thats F N Teamwork Tenacious D hit the road again and found the Sparkle Twinkle Glimmer and Glam of the Twilight Imperium. The two teamed up to rock the stage and the Uprising Tenacious D brought the rock and stole the show,
Heading back home to set up a venue to host the Crackas who Tenacious humiliated earlier in a rock off faced some minor set backs that snowballed into major technical problems for the JB and KG. The Crackas were prepared for for TD this time and brought 12 and unmaliciously started with all 12 instead of saving one for the encore. Already down on set songs from the get go Tenacious D tried to bring out the flash and Sassafrass took his final stage dive. As he threw himself off of the JB and KG turned and tried to stop him because there was none of their fans there and the Crackas fans scattered leaving Sassafrass to Hit the cold hard floor. He was rushed to the Hospital where the doctor tried to patch him up but it was simply too late and Sassafrass was later pronounced deceased. We would like to take a moment to recognize our fallen member of the band and the loss of an exceptional member of society. This was not the end of the troubles for the Tenacious D group tough as KG would later be shanked after the show by a crazed fan and stole the song rocketsauce. KG was in critical condition and as a result missed the next show and is still a little weaker then he was. Rocketsauce the song was never found and was removed from the set list.
Tenacious D went back for some more Hip Hop action and brought the rock right from the start. Losing an early set they fired back on all cylinders and won the next two but gave up a late set to give the rock off one extra song a piece. Giving the mic over first to the Hip Hop the stole the stole the show but right before the song ended the Highsteppers got the crowd on their side and pitched a brand new song which was well received and this time they walked away with the W.
Heading to the next gig, The Heavy Metal Hitters who slaughtered Tenacious D earlier in their tour, once again proved too much for the uprising stars to handle. the Heavy Metal Hitters tried to make short work of TD but was only able to steal one set away from them but that proved to be enough to snake the victory of their second round rock off.
With the loss of several songs this tour and a beloved friend Tenacious D has hit rock bottom. They plan on finishing the tour then regrouping and rebuilding the next set list to provide you, the fans, with a better show!
So...for those about to rock!... |

Hip Hop Tried To Defile The Metal Meeting at a mutual battle of the bands location JB,KG and Big Sass showed up to take on the cool sounds and vibrations of the bass from the latest the Hip Hop High Steppers had to offer.
Starting off with the hit sensation Explosivo KG rocked so hard he literally rocked the face off of HHHS number #13 and left him shocked and awed...he was rushed to the infirmary where was later pronounced dead. (moment of silence) This however did not stop the HHHS's from firing back with their electric beats. They ended up stealing the show and winning the first round of the rock off.
The next time Tenacious decided to start off with the road where HHHS answered quickly with their own song as it looked grim JB threw out double team and it was simply to much for HHHS to reply too and thus Tenacious won the next round.
HHHS were not defeated yet, they busted out some some old school beats but right before it looked like they were going to take this round home KG thought this was the perfect time to throw out The Metal and it rallied the fans behind them and the snuck away with the round just in time.
Guns blazing HHHS dominated the next round with some new beats that left Tenacious D caught off guard and stuck on their heals.
2-2 with the first of 5 of the battle of the bands, it came down to one song. JB dialed up a great one with wonderboy and hurled it right at HHHS. Dominating the round with explosive energy JB and Wonderbuy sealed the deal and they walked away with the trophy. |

Tenacious d was there too!...right??? Traveling down to the deep south and entering the swampy party of the Slann crew, Froggy Went a'Courtin' for their latest gig where they where out shined all night. Once again stirring up a rowdy crowd opening for the Slann show biz crew Slann super stars had to take the stage and calm them down with a steller performance. Track Baby sas was removed from the set list and the song about their trials and tribulations was added to the set list "The Road" will now be featured on the remaining stops on their tour. Also, JB will be needing to lay low for awhile as he killed Mecha Jerod Leotoad on his amazing solo where he literally blew his mind while shreading the guitar.
Stay tuned for upcoming shows! |

They Smelled Funny!?! An interesting show hosted by the MC's...the crowd just plain smelled atrocious and were really itching for some different music as they went berserk during the back to back songs of Explosivo and Double Team. The rowdy crowd made JB and KG think twice about having it in the next show and thus have taken it from the set list for now, if the fans want it back they can vote to have it back on at www.tenaciousdyoumutherfersyeah.blogspot...
After the show JB and KG were introduced to Sassafrass the Sasquatch. Sassafrass said he had some skills on the drums so JB and KG let him rip it...and loved it! So I would like everyone to welcome Sassafrass to the Tenacious D squad and he will begin touring right away.
Next stop is the massively popular town where the Froggies of Froggy Went a Courtin' reside. Will the new addition to the team be enough to win the hearts of the pond dwellers? |
