Home is Far Away
It is not meant to be this time around for the harbingers of doom. They came back with high hopes to bring this world to their knees and the finish to their second season gave hope that the time of despair could well be at hand. But despite the increase in speed, agility and strength, they have failed to develop the other skills necessary to launch this world into eternal darkness. Perhaps another season they will arise and take what is rightfully theirs, but for now they will play out one more game against the orcs, and then wait and watch for the time they can truly rise to greatness.

Close, but not as close as before
Losing by one score in overtime is not a good consolation, but lately, the harbingers of doom can't even find their way to that hallowed period. Those who speak of the destiny lost their rematch of one of their previous wins on the season, dropping a game against the Undead Formerly Known As, and as has been the case, it happened late, when no more could be done.

An even closer game occurred next as the chaos continue to be bedeviled by the Lizards of Venom Valley. Termination was able to finally sharpen his claws, giving him an added bonus to go along with his mighty power. It is of course too late for this season. Questions remain, are these last two games the final curtain for the believers in blood, or will those that defame the world return for one more year, to torment, or be tormented by the hands of fate.

A Recap of Pain
Alas, time has not been on the side of the bringers of pain, but that is but a poor excuse for the lack of updates as this season slowly heads back down to the pit of despair.

The harbingers or darkness lost their third game, in OT, to the runners up from last year. The newly minted Death had a chance to spring Famine loose, but was unable to stay standing himself. The orcs then Elfed their way downfield to get the winning score.

The pain was short lived as the Dwarf lineman could not contain Termination when needed, and unlike most other teams, could not remove the Chaos from the pitch. a much needed victory briefly evened up those that predict dooms record.

It would not last as a good first half went quickly south against the high elves, in a game to dour even for these believers in despair.

OT would not treat the omens of desolation well in their most recent game either, as after a back and forth with fellow Chaos Long Arm of the Claw, the very skilled Famine would fail to block down an unskilled beastmen, which freed up the ball carrier to escape downfield. At 2-4, the playoffs seem a distant dream, even with three losses in OT. Can these haters of the light come together to finish the season strong, or is the sun setting on the apocalypse for another season.
